Drupal is a powerful and dynamic, free, open source software package. Users are able to easily organize, manage, publish, and customize content. The core functionalities can be extended with modules and because of its large user community, information and tutorials can easily be found.
A guide geared towards humanists on getting started and using Drupal has been written by Quinn Dombroski titled Drupal for Humanists. This book is part of series called Coding for Humanists published by Texas A&M Press. Questions that are not answered in the book can be posted to the Drupal for Humanists discussion fourm on Google Groups.
