Since its earliest stages, the Center for Digital Editing has partnered with projects to make their documentary work or historical collections increasingly accessible. Current partnerships include The Papers of Martin Van Buren project, The John Dickinson Writings Project, and The George Washington Financial Papers Project.

The Cumberland University project partnered with the Center for help in building a content management system. The partnership has evolved into a commitment to early-stage editorial work.
Our partnership with the University of Kentucky project currently consists of the re-development of their content management system and implementation of streamlined editorial workflow. Future work will include the development of a digital edition.
The Center’s first partnership, our collaboration with the George Washington Financial Papers Project resulted in the creation of a comprehensive content and editorial management system. Partnership with this University of Virginia project also inspired developments of new technologies and methods of thinking for Drupal-based projects.
