As of May of 2024 the University of Virginia in collaboration with the Center for Digital Editing has received an award from the NHPRC of $125,000 to continue the support of the project to edit and publish the “Papers of George Washington” https://washingtonpapers.org/ . Project Director Jennifer Stertzer with the Center for Digital Editing team has been able to maintain and support this research thanks to organizations like the NHPRC.
