The Historical Publications Office plans to use MosaicNC to digitally publish two of their long-running projects: the Colonial Records of North Carolina and the Governor’s Papers Project. By putting the exhibits online, these projects will become a free educational resource for the public.
MosaicNC will show the value of North Carolina’s historical resources in a new way. Putting the projects online will allow the exhibits to use images and videos, and be interactive in a way that a print edition could not.
