The North American Climate History project is a collaborative effort between the Papers of Thomas Jefferson at Princeton University, the Center for Digital Editing at the University of Virginia, and the Center for Digital Scholarship at the American Philosophical Society. Once completed, this digital resource will provide discoverability of and access to historical weather and climate records. Additionally, the platform will support editorial preparation (broadly conceived), publication, and exporting of weather and climate records, and will provide projects, archives, and special collections with the necessary guidelines and tools to add materials to the federated resource.
Project Directors: James McClure, Bayard Miller, and Jennifer Stertzer
